WELFARE RIGHTS SERVICES
Our knowledgeable and experienced advisors provide essential support for individuals and families navigating welfare rights. We offer tailored advice on various benefits, assistance with applications, and advocacy to ensure fair treatment in accessing entitlements. Understanding your welfare rights is crucial for maximizing financial support and achieving stability, and our team is here to empower you with the resources and guidance you need.
All our Welfare Rights Advice is provided by our Welfare Rights Officers Elaine & Stuart
Our welfare rights advisors, Elaine and Stuart, continue to provide high-quality welfare and benefits advice and services to the community. The latest financial year has seen a significant migration for many of our clients from legacy benefits to Universal Credit, along with threats to the Winter Fuel Payment. This has resulted in a higher-than-normal volume of clients and corresponding casework directed towards our welfare rights team. Remarkably, they have maximized clients' income by £3,248,191.04 during this period. Welfare rights services are offered weekly at Blairtummock, Provanhall, and Gardeen HA’s, as well as through a drop-in session every Wednesday at Connie’s.
