Jobclubs 

Connect Community Trust has been delivering Jobclubs for over 10 years throughout the Greater Easterhouse area and have built positive relationships with employers, training providers, jobcentre plus and most importantly, local people. 

We operate an open door policy and are committed to developing a wide range of opportunities for ALL in our community to help get local people working!


 Employability

 We have a team of experienced and  dedicated employability staff to help support you on your unique journey in moving closer to securing work, further/ higher education, training or volunteering places.

Whether you are working at the moment looking for a career change or have yet to secure your first job, we are able to provide a wide range of support and advice through our employability and training provision including:

  • CV & cover letter writing
  • Creating email and job site accounts 
  • Completing paper and online applications 
  • Jobsearching 
  • Using digital equipment and software
  • Interview preperation
  • Personal statements 
  • Applying for Universal Credit 
  • Accessing and navigating UC account
  • Securing work experience placements 
  • Researching employers/education establishments/training providers

 Training

Our partnership with Glasgow Kelvin College and as members of the John Wheatley Learning Network, we can offer local people access to accredited training courses and links to part and full time learning in a community setting.

Our Employability are delivered both remotely and in person from the following venues:

The Pavillion: 47 Aberdalgie Road, Glasgow G34 9HX

All of the venues we deliver from are fully equipped with high spec desktop computers with internet, WIFI access, printing facilities and individual learning pods.
