Job Clubs and Employment Support
Connect Community Trust has various support services available for local people looking to get into work. With no eligibility criteria (priority for Greater Easterhouse residents), if you walk through the door of any one of our facilities or a facility operated by a partner organisation, one of the staff will chat to you and do our best to help.
The Job Clubs provide a drop-in and appointment system to help with:
- Access to computers for jobsearch
- Universal Job Match and Government Gateway accounts
- CV building
- Access to training and skills development
- Volunteering and Work Experience
- Support with Job Centre and meeting your claimant committments
In 2015 we continue to work with 7 housing associations in the Greater Easterhouse area and can support you to liaise with your housing and can help with benefit advice and filling out universal credit applications, advice on debt and other money matters.
Operating a job club Monday to Friday in various venues around Greater Easterhouse we can support you whatever your circumstances.
Working in partnership with the local Easterhouse Housing Regeneration Alliance to provide help and support in your local area.
